The second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for employees of the Legal Medical Department of the Public Prosecutor`s Office of Madre de Dios will be vaccinated within 21 days in the occupational medicine section of the headquarters of the Public Prosecutor`s Office of Madre de Dios in the city of Puerto Maldonado. The first dose of the Sinopharm laboratory vaccine, provided by the health sector, was successfully applied to workers who had already undergone screening and medical examination by Cecilia Castillo Ayala, a registered nurse Cecilia Castillo Ayala and occupational physician Augusto Rivera Ticona, both professionals working at the Public Prosecutor`s Office of the Madre de Dios Tax District. It is a digital centrifuge used to process samples of body fluids that determine whether a patient has AIDS and hepatitis A or B. Dr. Pedro Washington Luza Chullo, President of the Council of Chief Prosecutors of Madre de Dios, and Dr. Luis Chávez Celis, Director of Santa Rosa Hospital in Puerto Maldonado, attended the ceremony. On the occasion of the anniversary of the Leonidas Avendaño Institute of Forensic Medicine, the Department of Forensic Medicine II of the Public Prosecutor`s Office of Madre de Dios inaugurated two modern biological laboratory facilities that will serve the district and contribute to the criminal investigation.
